My SRT-8 is a daily driver, shuttling the kids from gymnastics to Girl Scouts. The car is by far the safest I have ever driven. I get 17.7 MPG and I like to hear my magnaflows so I am always laying on them.
My wife has a similar routine. She brings my son to school, then drives to work, then afterschool activities. What I would really like to know is how you could get 17.7 MPG? My car registers 12 and is an '06 with 7k on it. I'm fine with the horrible mileage, because I have a new way of looking at it. $30 of BP Ultimate lasts almost two weeks and that's good enough for me. Everything is close around here. Of course, my F350 crewcab gets better mileage than even your 300, but whatever. It is what it is.

You forgot Puerto Rico! I own one of about 8 SRT-8s on the island. I know PR is not a continental US state, but we have US Zip codes. Just to let U know! Great Statistics, though!

I thought some of you might be interested to see where the majority of the SRT-8 allocations have gone so far, to dealers in which States and Provinces. This could be helpful for those still searching for a vehicle, as far as knowing which markets in North America are receiving the most vehicles.

The stats below represent data from more than 7,000 vehicles. Please keep in mind that this data is based on the majority of, but NOT all of the SRT-8 300C vehicles manufactured to date. Totals for any or all of the States can and will change, some perhaps dramatically, as more vehicles roll off the line.

Congrats and welcome to the club! A minor and cheap performance upgrade would be an air intake. I have the Mopar and it sounds great and did add some horsepower! Enjoy the beast!
