Hi all,

Quick question - the stock tyres on my 2013 Chrysler 300 c need to be changed.

The stock spec is 245/45/R20 however I can get the 255/45/R20 cheaper for the same model.

Will this be fine? Any issues that can occur - or am I overthinking it.

Cheers

FWIW, I think 25545R20 is the perfect size for the stock 20x8 rims. The only reason I don't have them is, the Michelin 24545R20s that came on the car haven't worn out yet.

As you can see from this post on our sister site, you should have no problem.

I would like to know if the fronts will fit. I have a 2012 300c with 245 on the front and 275 on the back. The front control arms are literally millimeters away from the tire. I would confirm they would fit first. But if you do go that route please let us know as I would be interested in going to a 255 in front if it fits. Good luck

There's no blundering involved and no hassle that I'm aware of. As you can see on the link I posted from our sister site, Charger owners run 25545R20s with no issues. It's actually a fairly popular upgrade.

255/45r20s show 1% larger than stock (not bad)

My '14 300C came with factory 20" wheels on it, they fit just fine. Not sure on width of the factory wheels. They use 245/45-20 tires.
I do have 20" x 9" wheels on my '12 Challenger R/T and fronts clear the spindle arm by about 1/4". Those were a squeaker to get in there with the same size tires as my 300c.
