Hey everyone I have a 2005 Chrysler 300c! The engine runs really well…but when I try to drive it it will not shift past first gear. It goes into park neutral reverse and drive fine. Drives in reverse and drive just puzzled it won’t shift past first…get up to about 20mph and at 3000rpms won’t shift and then gigs down a little…there aren’t any leaks and fluids are at proper level

The speed sensor code is misleading. In fact, the problem is typical for Mercedes transmission

Unfortunately, being so simple to substitute, you will need to go a transmission expert that could charge about $200-$250 for labor
And once is damaged by usage, it will fail again in a year... it is called transmission 'limp status'
