I just bought a HID kit, and I just went to the store to buy a capacitor to put into the relay so that I do not come across any flicker problems. They didn't have any of the 35v caps :pat: but they had the 63v ones. I was reading here and over at LX Forums about the caps, and they said that either the 35v or 55v will work so I thought a 63v would work fine as well. Will anything happen if i use the 63v cap instead of the 35v?

I talked to an Electrical Engineer I work with and he has told me the the voltage rating is what the capacitor can use without blowing up. So your car will only get to 13.8ish volts so you should be safe.
This electrical engineer agrees. The only difference is physical size. Performance will be the same.
