I have read numerous info about the 5.7 hemi not having a Mass Air Sensor, instead having a Speed Density System. So I come across this article in "Dub" magazine with an install for the DUB AIR CAI. It States in the 3rd picture as you can see from the attached jpg, "The stock ducting is unclamped from the Mass Air Sensor. "

Am I missing something here.?

My post was not targeted towards you. I just wanted to make sure it was not misunderstood. That article is just errored at several levels.

It's the throttle plate assembly. Poorly written instructions by someone that doesn't have a clue.

Ya, you are right. I mean it's not like I look to this magazine for any REAL tech articles. It was just something I came across in Chapters.

I guess I am just old fashioned in that I expect any largely publicized magazine or article to be correct with the information they provide. Especially when it comes to tech articles aimed at do-it-yourself-ers teaching them to tear apart their cars.
