Great News Scott!
that is awesome guys!
Can't wait for something legal here in California... :wink1:
hehehe
and we all know that'll never happen...
so go legal and get "shorty's" or go illegal for smog purposes and get the Kooks... freakin' Cally smog rules sometimes...
we are all going to die anyways... (ok, off the soapbox)
Scott, have you done any tests with "shorty's" - I know Gibson has a system for the 5.7L - does anyone have shorty's yet for the 6.1L?
And if so, are there any gains?
thanks!
FYI - everyone
I will be at Magnaflow this week to get the High Flow cats installed on my car.
I was the guinea pig car for those back in September (has it been that long)...
and we saw a max gain of 8-10hp...
so with my Magnaflow cat-back exhaust system on there...
this will be a good baseline number for everyone to compare the gain on the Kooks Headers overall to your system if you decide to add it to the Magnaflow cat-backs and high flow cats...
And I can't wait to hear Doyle's ride now with them on.
Once again Scott, thanks to you and Kooks for the development of these headers...
