The 6 disk CD changer on my Chrysler 300c will not eject, switch, or play CD's. I've taken it out of the car and took off the cover and there's no disk offset or anything. It reads disk error and repeatedly tries to eject the disk with no success. I'd hate to spend so much on repairs and a new one is out of the question. Anyone have some suggestions of what I could possibly do? I just need my tunes back! :banghead:

Mine did this and I could not revive it. I've been led to believe that when they do this, it's over and done with.

Sorry bud. They show up from time to time here and on eBay. Member dannyaya may still have his. My SRT REC/NAV unit did this and it was replaced under my extended warranty. A new replacement from the dealer runs right around $2000 if I remember right.

I found the one in my truck on eBay for $400 and it works great. I was a little concerned about the purchase but it's all good.

I guess you could go with an aftermarket unit. Pioneer makes some nice ones.

Try resetting the power by unplugging it completely, I noticed it reset my audio setting when i did that.
That video helped out a lot to remove it. See if that works at all
