06 , 2.5 I have changed the compressor and the expansion valve. I'm now in the process of trying to charge the system. Pulled a vacuum for about 45 minutes and it held at - 20 psi for 30 minutes. I started adding freon but when the compressor kicks on my high pressure drops to almost nothing while still dropping on the low side as well. Please help never had this happen before. O and when I turn the car off the pressure on both sides equalizes at 100

Seems to me as though the compressor is turning in the wrong direction, or you accidentally reversed the hoses. Is either even possible?

Hoses are two different sizes and belt routing is correct. I guess the compressor could have been built wrong at the factory. A friend of mine proposed that there is a restriction in the line, dryer, or the condenser between the compressor and where my gauge is positioned. Checking this out now.
