My car's ABS and TCS light is on and I was told by the mechanic that rear tone rings are bad which I replaced a long with all 4 ABS sensors. I have not driven the car yet but I did reset the battery by unplugging for 15 min. As soon as I started the car ABS lights came back on. Do I need to go drive for few miles for it to reset?

Anyone else had this happen where ABS light stayed on even after replacing the tone rings?

If all is well the light should go off after you have driven a few hundred yards. Shouldn't have to go fr a long drive

That was it. I needed to drive it with all four wheels on the ground. It did reset itself and now my cruise control works ?

Ah that's good news

My understanding is that Cruise won't work with the ABS light on
