I just couldn't stand the stock navigation unit. Really wasn't happy with doing TV2Go or something like that.

Decided to go with the Alpine IVA-W205 unit and the Blackbird Navigation add-on.

Aside from the EVIC losses, steering wheel controls still work perfectly after the correct modules were installed.

oh that is nice!! what installation kit did you use? i have the metra, but i dont like how it's a 2 piece. i see yours is a one piece. it looks so much better. nice work!!

No installation kit, all hand made boys and girls!

The W205 is an amazing unit, I love it. Pulse touch is such a sweet feature, you'll love it.

In terms of EVIC loss, you will lose Uconnect, radio/track/sat display and navigation display.

The blackbird unit that plugs into the W205 has bluetooth, comes with a mic that you mount, and that way you've still got hands free.
