Hi all,

Picked up an Android head unit and it's a great bit of kit.

One quirk I have at the moment is the audio positioning in the EQ settings.

Centred is absolutely fine and so if left/right.

However, front/back doesn't seem to work (ie. if you go forward or back, everything just goes really quiet.

Has anyone else encountered this? Is it likely just to be an amp compatibility thing?

Cheers

I think I've sussed it from another post in the audio section of the forum.

Got it in the November sales from AliExpress.

the sale price I bagged it at was £265.

The free delivery through EMS was actually quite quick, got stuck in customs for about a week.

From the point of ordering and actually receiving was just over 2 weeks.

Sender kindly lower the parcel value a lot, so only got hit with a very small customs charge.

Seller is good at responding to any questions as well.

I had to make a small modification to allow for the rear wiper controls, but with a jnr hacksaw and dremel it was easy.

It's the same on mine, it's due to the amp I believe.

Hi I know this is an old post but recently bought 300c touring and like you want to replace head unit.
Can't find any faceplate for rear wiper buttons. Was it easy enough and looks OK to cut space for them.
Thanks in advance

The estate version, have the rear wiper buttons. I would suggest use Dremel and cut neatly to make the desired space for the wiper buttons. Use a file to smooth the edges, you should get a perfect finish. Just go carefully, measure a gazillion times and cut once. 👍
