I am looking at these about to buy them and just kinda wondering how they are there isnt much info out on them as for now if you have them tell how they have been to you so far and also what kind of price you paid for them if you dont mind
Yes I put those tires on a set of 20x9 Zinik wheels. The tires are quiet at highway speeds and we even had a late spring snowstorm and I drove the car with the 20's on it in the snow and ice and it handled great. The tread design is pretty sweet on those tires. Check my thread postings for pics.
I can compare them to to 2 others. The Falkins Sucked 245/40/20.It rode like a truck. The tires were to small for the car not enough side wall.
As for the Conti's the Nittos are better. They have a softer ride and will last longer for sure.
Get them.
I have the nittos too, 255-45-20's, i like them, they ride quietly and americas tire recommended 35 psi, but i have since gone to 38 psi and they handle even better i.m.o......what p.s.i. are u all running?
when i was looking for tires several people i talked to had bad things to say about the nittos and only good things to say about the pirellis.... i am no expert and always thought the nitto was a good tire, but so many people that i trust seemed to think differently... so i ended up with the pirelli for mine.
that being said, even if the nitto is not as good as the pirelli, the price is about a third less that i noticed and that may just make up for the difference in quality?
Most reviews I have read indicate Pirelli aint all that. Unless you get into the Nero level everyone I know who has had P3 P5 P6 and even P7 are not impressed.
Nitto 420's are by far the best looking and performing tires on the market for 22's.
The sidewall is just awesome and it has a little bit more than most tires. It's a full
sidewall that is really smooth so when you are Armor Alled up they look sweet.
these were made for SUV's but now with the 265 35 22 we can run them on cars like the 300c or a chevy impala 1996 and it looks great if they were made to hold a 6500 pound tahoe then I am sure they willl do just fine with a 300c on them
It's simple if you dont like the Nittos go with the Perrille's.
My Nittos are great and i wouldn't trade them. They might be listed for an SUV but they work great for the 300. Heck the 300 is as heavy as some of the SUV's out there.
Got the Nitto 420S's on my 20"x8.5" Boss 327 rims for my 300c. Ride feels great. Can't really compare to last set of wheels and tires. Hads 22's on my Magnum SXT AWD. For me, the rims were to big, felt every little bump in the road.
