Does anyone know how hard it would be to retrofit and install Sirius. Is the radio ready and just not hooked up? Is it a different wiring harness?
I know I could add an aftermarket, but would rather retrofit with OEM even if I have to order parts in the US.
Thanks in advance
There are no stations up here. Our bloody government does not allow satellite radio at this time, so it must be bought out of the US which means you must have a US address for billing purposes. I really don't know how they would police it but those are the rules. I hear that satellite will be available here in the near future but will not include services out of the US. If you ever had to endure a couple of hours watching the CBC, then you will know how we feel, then again I really don't want to listen to the likes of Howard Stern.Model 57 said:How many stations would be available up there? That would be my only concern if I lived there. You might want to try to find out. Maybe check with some others who have traveled through your area. Or better yet, across Hwy 1.
