AWD much higher thank 2WD?

hey guys...
my boss just got a 300C with AWD.

we were looking at it the other day but we both noticed that the car sits a lot higher than the normal rear wheel drive version.

does anyone know the reason for this.

and is it possible to lower it without any potential problems (for example: use the SRT-8 springs and dampers)?

many thanks!

There are no lowering kit for the awd 300c yet. I too own a 300c awd. I'm still waiting for eibach to manufacture one for the awd.

The reason: AWD= 4X4 family sedan; for folks in snowy, hilly, muddy areas; esp. rural (editor's note: completely out of place in the urban setting)

The AWD is a personal thing. For me it is only added weight. I have never had a 4WD or AWD vehicle in my life, and have never felt that I needed anything. But then I don't live in the mountains.
