I noticed on my 300 when backing up I see the lights on the thing hanging from the headliner in back . but don't get a audible alert to basically right on top of whatever it is I'm close too. Is that normal? Was thinking the alerts would be herd as soon as the lights start lighting up .

No I beeps when first red light comes on and solid beep when both red lights come on.

Yeah red lights is when it beeps but I'm probably less then a foot away from a wall by that time. No beeps when its still going thru the yellow lights ? Does the distance sound right about a foot away before it beeps , if not a little less then a foot ? Have a ford truck that beeps like 3-4 ft away from a object.

You won't get a chime until the lights turn red.

I figure mine beeps at about 6". I keep my eyes on the yellow lights! When the reds come on, the radio goes off and the beeps begin.
