I still have the stock OEM battery in my 2016 chrysler 300 S and am wondering when others have changed out the batteries on this car?
The mechanic was trying to sell me on a new battery around ~45K miles and I passed as it was running and starting just fine....well here we are now at ~91.5K miles and I still am using the original battery. I haven't noticed a loss of performance.
When will the battery typically go bad/low? I regularly maintain the car/oil otherwise and am earmarking changing out the original spark plugs at 100K miles per the owners manual. When have others seen the OEM battery go? I'd also like to note that I have spent the last 4 winters in cold/salty Cleveland type weather so this battery has functioned well even in cold winter conditions.
