What did you drive before you bought your 300C. I'm still waiting for mine, ordered 4/13/05. For the first 3 weeks, I didn't think about it, but now I'm going crazy (and driving my family crazy) in anticipation of my new fully loaded 300C. I'm currently driving a 99 Dodge Intrepid. You know, the "cab forward" 2.7L abortion of an engine. I researched the 300 for a year before pulling the trigger. From the first moment I saw the 300, I fell in love w/ it, but my biggest hang up was, do I want to buy another Chrysler product after all the problems I've had w/ the Dodge. This thing leaks oil like a rusty tin can. I finally drove the 300C and ordered it on the spot. I'm just curious what everybody drove before their purchase.

Waiting patiently in North Carolina.

Traded my 2004 Lexus RX330 AWD for a 2006 300C a month ago and never looked back!

Sounds crazy to trade a Lexus for a Chrysler but the 300C is way more my style!! And frankly, the whole Lexus myth and mystique is way overrated... at least in my humble opinion... YMMV... Member FDIC.

In a complete impulse purchase, I traded in my 2000 Concorde a month after I'd paid off a five-year no interest loan. Just wandering through Berlin, New Jersey, after breakfast at the diner on a Saturday morning, I stopped in to browse at the local dealer and there it was - a perfectly equipped Midnight Blue C, just off the trailer. The salelady treated me right (it was her first sale!), the dealer treated me fair (basically list price less a decent trade value and a grand for financing through Chrysler) and I ended up chucking all the junk in the Concorde in a box and driving home two hours later with a new car!

2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP... similar story to you Jazzhead. Paid off my car and had my eye on the C for a while but was just looking. Found one similar to what I wanted with everything but the HIDs. Dealer made a great offer on the car and on my trade. I actually managed to walk out, but returned the next Monday to get it. VERY happy with the car so far and have my 1st service appointment Monday for a few issues. Once those are fixed and the F&I boner fixes my service contract I'll be 110% happy! :)

Had a 1999 Jag XJR and then bought a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I also had a chance to drive around a 2002 Mercedes S500 for while. I currently have the 300C, the Jeep and a 2003 BMW 330i but the 300C is my fav.

Had a 1993 Lexus GS300, (something about the # 300). Still have 2003 LandRover Discovery (# 300 backwards minus the 2)), and just took my 89 Saab 900 Conv (something about zero's) out of storage. Still can't seem to stay out of the driver's seat of Mrs SexC :).

i had a 2004 Mazda 6, all tricked out. i loved the car when i had it, but now looking back on it, it was an absolute joke. i mean common, who puts spinners on a mazda 6, hahaa. i thought that car was fast even for a lil 4 banger, but when i got my C my perception of a 'fast' car changed completely. in fact i raced a 6 in my C at a stoplight some time ago and completely blew it away. anyways after i totaled my mazda, i drove my other car, '97 Land Rover Discovery (looks like we share a good taste in cars angi ;) ), but was sick of driving that 'tank' everyday.

i always had my eyes on the 300Cs before they even were in production, and always drepmt of having one as my dream car, but never thought possible. after contimplating to spend the money on a C for some while, i decided this was the car for me and to go for it. call me crazy, but i never even bothered to test drive one prior to me purchasing it and driving it home. i guess i just wanted to be suprised and wanted that extra thrill, because i already knew this car was for me and id like how it handled regardless. a lot of people criticize me for being so young and spending a significant amount of money on this car i could have invested otherwise.....but in my eyes its worth every penny of it and would have it no other way, i guess thats all that matters. i have no regrets and love this car just as much, if not more, as when i first layed my eyes on it.

I had a '94 Camaro Z-28. Before that (in reverse order) a Mercedes 300D, a Chevy Cavalier, a Toyota Corrolla Wagon (luv'd that one), Hyundai Scoupe, Ford Escort, '76 Chevy Camaro RS and started it all with a '72 Ford Maverick.

Needless to say, I had one turd after another although I loved the Maverick and the Toyota. When I owned the Toyota I was living in Guam and drove that tough little beast down all the jungle roads. It was by far the ugliest car I ever had but I hope my 300C is even half as tough as it was.

I drove a '98 Corvette, and sometimes drove my hubbeee's 2000 BMW 740i since he never drove it much. I had been telling him about the 300C for quite sometime before it's debut. When we finally saw it at the auto show he was impressed and when they finally hit the lots I told him I had to test drive one... he knew then he was done for. ;)

Didn't make sense to have 2 sedans, I reasoned, after all it is only the 2 of us now; so he traded his BMW for my C.
Now I only drive my poor neglected 'Vette when my C is in the shop or hubbeee needs the garage emptied to work on something else :(

I traded in my 91 Ford Ranger POS pickup! Paid $500 for her 3 years ago and got $700 in trade. She served me well, but like my wife, I had to trade her in on a younger, faster and better looking model that just didn't have such a wide cargo space in the rear! :D

Quick, get me a beer before it starts!

The 2004 Truck of the Year. I loved this truck, but once I saw the C at the Philadelphia Car Show, I knew that I had to take the hit and trade in the truck!!! I only had the truck for 8 months.
