an exhaust specialist gave me a quote on converting my single exhaust to dual. (I'm looking to get that deep/throaty sound)

He said he would connect a pipe to the existing one, add Maganflow mufflers and my choice of exhaust tips..... all for $500 + tax.

My first question is will this give it that sound I soooo want badly? (with the Magnaflow mufflers)
secondly.... is $500 a good price?

thanks in advance.

blastin bobs has good pricing on kits like that. There not mandrel bent tho. Me personally I am going with the resonator delete kit Just to clean up that area and allow myself to be able to bolt in my other compressor.

$500 doesn't sound bad at all actually it sounds like a deal to me but the throaty sound your lookin for should come with the magnaflows but it will be more restricted with the resonators on not that restricted but enough that I wouldn't want them on but also look at SLP Loud Mouth 2's they have a nice deep sound but also there's a sticky I think its in the performance section with peoples exhaust sound clips and pics ill be added one tommorrow once I get mine installed hope this helps and hope you enjoy what you choose

I was looking at the MagnaFlow Dual Tip exhaust - the one like a factory Maxima - looks nice, but I never have heard one besides their crappy sound byte on the website. I can't convince my wife that we would save enough gas to justify the $650 price tag though.

Hey Pugnacious,

I will try to record my new system (I just uploaded pics for you on the install) and then post it here or on the exhaust sticky for sound clips.

I think it sounds great.
