My 300 crd suffers from a periodic start failure. And when the flatbed has delivered it to the dealer - it starts again.
Although it shows the error code P0615 the dealer has been unable to find locate the problem. So far the replacement of the shift quadrant - at my expense of course - did not solve the issue.
I therefore downloaded a comprehensive repair manual:
Chrysler 300C Service Repair Manual 2005-2010 x 1 - $19.98 (USD)
from automotive-manual.net.
It is almost 10.000 pages and covers the diesel models as well. I am tempted to attach the PDF - but that would be unfair to the publisher. I am not affiliated with the publisher - but this is value for money - much better than Haynes or similar.
Apart from a OBDII cide register that points you to the possible diagnostics and repair it also has a comprehensive explanation of all functions - from the door lock to the transmission. All is covered. This is a must for the DIY mechanic . or those who just need to educate the dealer or their local repairshop.
Best regards
