For those of you that don't have a bluetooth phone, Circuit City has a universal bluetooth adapter, $49.95, that adapts to most phones to make them bluetooth compatible. I purchased one, but have not gotten it to work yet with my Motorola Startac phone. I have other settings I can try and I get my car back from the dealer tomorrow. I'll give an update later.

For those of you shopping for a phone I just got a Motorola V551 and it's Phat!

It does evrything and it's small, durable and not that expensive.

$150 after rebate when I renewed my contract with Cingular.

Bluetooth adapters do not work with the Uconnect. Been there and done that. The adpaters only work on headsets. There are plenty of other posts in here on this subject. Just get a bluetooth phone and enjoy it. It is certainly worth it.

U Connect

Well the scoop as far as I know it... .... You pay more for U connect and if you want to add a custom stereo you are going to have problems because then you can't turn the volume up and down on your conversation... (ONLY ON THE STOCK DECK)... It will still bring down the volume on an aftermarket deck like the Alpine IVA-D300,(touchscreen DVD Deck)... but you won't be able to adjust the volume of your conversation...

My Idea... go to car toys and get a bluetooth handsfree kit that works with your stereo for less than Chryslers UCONNECT

Just a thought
