FB, there are many posts regarding this product and its competitors. Great reading for anyone deciding to put an aftermarket exhaust. Have a look through the threads.

Just type "Borla exhaust" into the search box.

We just installed the BORLA Performance kit with the 5" tips and let me tell you, I haven't heard real American muscle in years and it really sounds great. Not to mention the seat of the pants feel is a kick..... I have heard a few of the other systems and this truly takes the cake. The resonance was bit high at first but has since dimnished a lot. I have actually seen the mileage go up which is amazing since I keep putting my foot into it to hear that great growl.

Just FYI for the Borla, the 5' tips kit has no rear mufflers/resonators - just the 5 inch tips so it will be a bit louder than the 3.5 inch tips kit (3.5 kit has rear mufflers).
I'd like to hear the 5 inch in person, as I have the 3.5 installed (quiet).

503 - post pics! I want to see the 5's on the 300.

Just ordered my system earlier today :D Soon as u get them installed please post what u think about them as far as sound and performance are concerned. I've read alot of good things about them on this site but it's always good to get another opinion.

Thank you

Here are few shots of my BORLA exhaust with 5" tips installed. Sorry for the large pictures bit I hope this gives you guys a good idea of how great these look on the car. Oh and by the way...the sound is amazing. I will try and add a sound clip if I can.

I personally feel that it adds a lot of low end BUT, I think that is just the sound playing with my head. I can tell you this. When I am going down the road and stomp on it. PEOPLE COME A LOOKIN'

Those are some cannons 503 - I'd like to hear it. Maybe a Pac NW meet sometime soon....the more I drive with the Borla 3.5's, the quieter it gets.

5-7 sounds great to me. I am not sure we will still have this car for long though as it will be for sale at the Portland International Auto Show. Hoping to move a few of these while they are hot. We are going to build a few to different specs. What part of the NW are you in?

Yes. 503Motoring please make an audio/video clip for us if possible. I can host it if need be. I'm quite curious about the sound of that system.

Thanks.

My opinions remain firm about the bodykits so far released. Way too much Honda Accord "ATTACK" style front end influence for my liking. Its Veilside, what else was I supposed to expect? They are the leaders in the tuner community as far as styling goes. The 300c is not a tuner car.

If AMG were to take a look, or perhaps Brabus, I would be on board. The 300c is too classy (looks wise not price) for aggressive bodykits in my opinion. I'm a big fan of bodykits with a european subtlety; AMG, Brabus,ABT, Techart, AC Schnitzer, Dinan, not such a fan of the Japanese style.

An RX7 is beautiful without a snowplow on the front. :)

Looking forward to those audio clips when you guys get the chance. The 5" Tips don't look as big as I thought they would!

I too feel the kit is a bit too agressive. Perfect for the Import market though. I will work on the audio clip this week, thanks Rogue.

Just had my Borla exhaust installed, with the 5" tips.... I'd say by replacing the stock exhaust... the car has gotta be about 100 lbs. lighter or so.... this coupled with my K&N cold air intake...has substantially increased the horsepower, and the torque on the low and mid range as well!!! Borla has done some great job in it's design of this exhaust... it's not very loud, even with the K&N air intake... but is certainly aggressive sounding, particularly when you punch it!!! From the back, as you can see from 503's pics.... the 5" tips fills the holes from the factory exhaust sooooo well. This has been the best mod. i've done to this car. I'm very happy I stuck with the 20" wheels too, as I'd hate to have to be too overly concerned about handling w/22's, avoiding every pothole and bump in the road....because let me tell you... THIS CAR MOVES!!!! My advise is if your thinking about adding this exhaust....stop thinking.... I've ordered the sun visor decals, i'm having the taillights tinted (except for the reverse lights), and the last thing i'll be doing is painting the calipers....probably black ....and i'll be done...i think....

Dxun, .... WOW... you are going to be very happy... if possible, make sure you get the borla w/the 5" tips.... it fits the rear of the car soooo perfectly. I put in a K&N cold air intake...that coupled with the new exhaust ... it just sounds soo great. Borla has outdone themselves... although it's little more quieter than I thought it would be (and mind you, i got rid of that stupid air silencer when I put on my lower grill mesh).... the exhaust is much much lighter than the stock exhaust, so you will improve your fuel milege a bit... but the hp and torque increase is amazing...when you stand on it...you move..and i mean really move. I can't recommend this highly enough!!!! ENJOY!!!

I'm still undecided whether those 5" tips are too big for my liking. From a side profile they look great, but all the shots I have seen from the rear have been from the ground and close up. Any way you guys could provide us a 3/4 angled back shot from higher up and back a bit? Bikini model not necessary :D
