The other night i put my car in park,turned off my lights and shut it off... As i walked out around it to go into my house i noticed my brake light was on... After about 15 mins of wondering what the hell was wrong, i pulled on the brake pedal and it snapped forward a bit then everything was fine and the lights went off...... It did it again about 2 weeks later...

anyone else experienced this #&[email protected]!!!

I believe the the brake light refers to the parking brake not the actual car brakes. Sometimes its easy to hit the parking brake while entering or exiting the car and that will trigger the light. Try pulling the parking brake release the next time the light is on. Some people have had the light come on without nudging the brake and have had to have their parking brake cable adjusted.

I think he is talking about the brake lights in the tail cluster.

i dont mean the park brake.....

The actual brake pedal got stuck like if i tapped the brake and it didnt release back out and i had to grab the pedal with my hand and pull it out towards me... It has nothing to do with the parking brake....

i was trying to figure out why my back lights didnt go off, then i tapped on the brake to brighten the rear lights but they were already brightened as if i was braking so i went to the pedal and pulled it towards me and the rear lights shut off....
