Many of you seem to have the exact build date (including the "day"). I have not been able to determine this from the Driver door tag, and can't find it anywhere else. Would someone let me in on where the "day" inforamtion is located on the car (I also checked my factory sticker - but not there either)?

jhelmuth,

Hello again. The build date is shown on the build sheet (if you were lucky enough to get one-I had been corresponding with some of the assembly line guys at Brampton and they left some in the car). This sheet is labled "MANIFEST" and shows the date and time when a particular assembly was installed along with the VIN #, the VON #, all the component part #'s, job serial #, job ID and sequence #. Really nice to have.

If you didn't get these with the car, I don't know how to get them after the fact. Sorry.

It should be on the door sticker along with tire pressures and other info, usually printed along the bottom left and it will read something like this: "MDH: 040214"

MDH= Month/Day/Hour (MM/DD/HH). In the above example, 040214= April 2nd, 2:00PM

Hopefully this information will help...Read on...

Hello Jim,

This is Brian Carotenuto. I can back up the information that ResumeSpeed says. The Vehicle Certification sticker located on the driver's side door has the information...Look down at the left side of the sticker below the barcode. You will see the letters MDH and then a series of numbers like this:112212 (November 22, 12pm) This information is my actual MDH information off of my VC sticker on my driver's side door of my CV base 300. Your dealer, as well as DC Customer Service should also be able to tell you when your car was built and first put into service (If you purchased a used 300 or Magnum) They can bring this information up on their computers at the dealer from which you purchased the car via Dealer Connect. They will also be able to tell you when the manufacturing milestones were completed. For the most complete information about your car via the DC Customer Assistance Center, (There are 2) Make sure you get the AUBURN HILLS Customer Assistance Center. You will know that you have the Auburn Hills location by the hold music that you will listen to. The hold music sounds like synthesized computer music rather than regular music. The other DC Customer Assistance Center is located in Tennessee. DC is trying to synchronize the information shared between both centers and hopefully by now both should have the same information. I would still recommend making sure that you talk to the Auburn Hills location.

I hope that this information helps... :D

Sincerely yours,

Brian T. Carotenuto
