Planning on swapping my can out in my 5.7 for a inertia spartan. I know I have to change valve springs and pushrods but should I go ahead and replace the lifters as well. My car has 143000 miles on it. Any help or advice would be great.

I'd change them out. New cam and springs will change the stresses on the lifters and over time, they kind of get used to the old stuff and break with the new stuff.

I'd do 'em.

Change them with a full set of oem 6.1 if your dumping mds... 5.7 ones if your going to run it..for that cam nothing more is required. :)

Then throw in a new set of 5.7 lifters and call it good my friend... no need for anything crazy and expensive.. the 5.7 ones are adequate for sure! :)
