Has anyone replaced their cap and rotor in their car? I hear it can improve performance..

I have a 2005 chrysler 300c and it has about 115km on it (71 miles).

I looked on rockauto.com and I can't seem to find this part to order it.

Our cars have ignition coils. No cap and rotor here. Plugs and wires are due if they haven't been changed already.

Get them with the wires as both parts will have reached their useful life by now.

Might want to make sure you have the rats nest wires before you order by pulling off the engine cowl and taking a gander at the either 1) Messy bunch of wires or 2) nice clean coils... if it's an 05 it should be wires but I did see a late build 05 without, I said it was an 06, the registration he showed me said 05 so who knows! As others have said its probably time for plugs and wires right around now!

If you find that you have the "crossover" wire "nest" of wires, you might want to consider getting rid of those and update to the Taylor Shorties.
PS: Plugs on the 5.7 Hemi should be changed every 30K. Be sure to buy and install the plugs that are meant for that engine (Champion copper) and that they are gapped at .45
