Take a look at this new product we are thinking about offering. I'm looking for opinions. They are injection moulded ABS chromed plastic. There is one package without the door handle covers for $495 and the package with the chrome door handles is $595 Thinking of a group buy if there is any interest.

Might need to post better pics, or at least a pic of the actual contents so we can do a better analysis. The black car doesn't look good, but the 'red' car looks great.
As for me, I kind of like the clean look, and will not do much to the outside of the car except maybe rims after I get back from Iraq next year. Would really like to shave the sides and chop the top, but most likely won't.
Any others with thoughts??

Interesting that Cueball says the red looks great and the black looks bad. IMHO the red looks gawd-awful and the black looks close to acceptable.

Yeah, I was trying not to say a bunch of negatives. I am a fan of the OEM look, and his pictures are too small to really get a good feel. I am not a fan of the red color, but like how the OEM molding was removed, then the aftermarket was applied on that car. The black one has both side moldings on, crowds the line of the car. Most of these cars/ products look much different in person. Some of what we on the forum call 'hideous' might not look so bad if we were standing next to the real thing.
I'd be surprised if this forum gave much support to this product, but it surely appeals to some. That's why a pic of all the contents would be good, some may just want certain pieces to complete their theme.

I don't know, even my friend who thought the color, wheels, and grill of the red one made it "da shit" qualified that by saying "except for that side molding." I think Ernie is looking for market research here as in would people buy this so I think being negative is fair game.

My vote would be no. I'm not real big on "mods", subtle changes are more my style. It's kind of hard to see the detail from those small pictures, but they look cheap to me. This kind of reminds me of when putting "Prism Tape" on everything was the rage. The Red looks better, but I still wouldn't do it to my car. The double chrome strips on the black (or is it Lava) one are way too much.

what is it you get for that price is it just the side sphere or does t include the other chrome pieces..except handles???

anyways, is it just me or did anyone else notice the grille on the red 300?!? it looks like a photochop to me, but boy would that look nice with a better frame and a big wing. can someone verify that this is indeed a photochop and not a real grille?!?//

it looks pretty cool when the stock chrome strip isnt there...perhaps without the front fender well piece too, that way, it would look stock, just higher up, and hopefully better quality...giving it a cool look i might go for if it was in the $200-$250 max range.

when i see this grill my eyes automaticly close the ugliest one ive ever seen rims are nice and i cant say anything about thouse chrome lines on the sides some peopke who like chrome might like it my personal opinion that 300c lookes beautiful and finished and there is not much to do with exterior

i just wanted to add if the grill of red car would be made some how so that u could easily take it of and put it back might be sucsesful because u could take it off prepare some meat on fire wash it and put it back :wave:
