Hello all. Yesterday, along with several items which I had also ordered from the Chrysler Gift Gallery, I also received a Chrysler 'Crossfire' humidor which (was available at a reduced price) that another member had mentioned in a separate thread somewhere.

http://www.giftgallery.chrysler.com...e(GiftGallery)&product_id=260A11(GiftGallery)

Since I've been known to 'light-up' a cigar now and then, as well as 'stoking-up' one of my Dunhill pipes, I thought that such an item just might be appropriate, if not an equally nice addition to my '300 Touring'. Although this custom-designed travel humidor was actually designed to fit into the center console of the Chrysler 'Crossfire', it also easily fits into the center console of the Chrysler '300 series' as well.

It's comes finely crafted with a brushed aluminum exterior (with both Chrysler and 'Crossfire' logos), and looks great in the home, in the car, and on a desk. It also comes equipped with a Prometheus 'torch' lighter (with engraved Chrysler winged logo) and a Xikar stainless steel cigar cutter stored within the interior hinged lid (just behind the integrated Hygrometer).

Although I'm sure that this just probably sounds like an advertisement, in fact, I just thought that I'd give you a member's 'first-hand' impression of this unique item. I'm sure that you too will find that this humidor package makes a great gift for the cigar smoker and Chrysler fan. Trust me, the Prometheus lighter alone is worth almost as much as the entire humidor package (Chrysler Gift Gallery item #260A11). I've attached a couple of pertinent photos for your perusal. :cool:

I would be all over this if it said 300C and not Crossfire... wonder how easy it would be mod? :) Also, do you mind sharing the cost of the Humidor with shipping? (I see it's listed at $75 on their site right now and didn't know if you happened to get it for less)

Sorry, no promotional code, as I thought the $75 was a pretty good deal already. I'm unsure of the actual shipping cost as a 'stand alone' item, since I purchased a substantial amount of different items at the same time...total shipping cost for me was about $25 for 'the entire lot'. I'm sure you can get the exact shipping cost if you 'go through the motions' (as if you were going to complete the purchase), but the process can easily aborted prior to finalization.

The humidor's dimensions are as follows:

Exterior Dimensions:

Length = 9" | Width = 4 1/8" | Height = 3 1/8"

Interior Dimensions (cigar/tobacco storage compartment):

Length = 8 1/8" | Width = 3 1/8" | Height = 2 1/8"

Interior capacity appears to be about a dozen 42 ring x 8" cigars (ref. attached cigar ring gauge) or a couple of 'retail size' pipe tobacco pouches.

As far as the 'Crossfire' logo goes, it's simply 'painted-on' wording which could easily be covered-up with a decal of even an engraved name plate (which I plan on having done). The Chrysler winged logo, however, is a three dimensional logo similar to the one located on the 300's rear deck lid (but a much smaller version of course), and is very nicely detailed. The bottom of the humidor has four small anti-skid pads (one at each corner).

Hope this additional info helps. ;)

Thank you!!! That's a really nice looking unit, just wish they custom built one for the 300. Hrmmmm, might be a nice project although the metal skinning is a bit out of my league.
My pleasure...

You're right. It sure would be nice to have one made specifically for the 300's center console...with a bit more cigar storage capacity, but I'm sure that it would cost more than the seventy-five bucks I paid for this one. Besides, I don't need to 'haul around' that many cigars anyway, as I'm not really a 'regular' smoker. I only smoke a cigar or pipe, and then, I only do so when the mood 'strikes me'. Plus, I never smoke inside any of my vehicles except for and while driving one of my trucks. ;)

As an added note, the humidor's aluminum skin matches very well to my 300 Touring's interior trim. :cool:

Too bad, as I thought it was a pretty good deal for $75. Sorry that you weren't able to get one before the price went up. I had actually thought that DC lowered the price because they were clearing them out, but I guess that interest in the humidors must've picked-up...sorry. :rolleyes:

its ok, its not your fault...Its mine for not jumping on the deal right away. I checked and a few other places have them for over $200.00. :eek:

I will wait for the next sale to get one though.
