I just called Chrysler 3 times... and the 1st time I talked to this lady that told me that... "sorry sir,. I can't help you "... I then asked who can???

They told me to talk to my dealer and that they would be able to tell me exactly what is going on with my car... when my dealer is the one who told me to call Chrysler... The second time I called the guy I talked to put me on hold once and then came back and said... "I don't see a 2005 300C with your VON"... and I preceeded to tell him the obvious that this is for a 2006... then he put me on hold for another 10 minutes and came back and told me that his computer had froze... and that he could call me back "Approximately Tommorow". Or... he said I could call back in a half hour...

Still sitting here fuming wondering why other people that ordered after me are getting their car's and I am still sitting here driving nothing...

PISSED OFF DUDE...

CHRYSLER IS A JOKE WHEN IT COMES TO CUSTOMER SERVICE

ONE WAY TO PISS OFF YOUR CUSTOMERS IS TO KEEP THOUSANDS OF THEM IN THE DARK FOR MONTHS>>> :fing26:

Dude,
I am feeling that... They told me first August, then September, then october, now november. I have them bastards on speed dial, and I am threatening them with violence. Don't think that helps much, but make me feel better. lol

The reason some people ordered after you and are getting their car's sooner is their dealer has a greater allocation of 300's. A smaller dealer that sells fewer cars can't get as many as a high volume dealer.

Chrysler is notorious for keeping everyone in the dark; Earlier this year they switched Tranny suppliers for the 6 speed manuals in the Dodge diesel trucks, and then right after that put them on restriction and wouldn't even let dealers sell the ones they had - - would not even tell the dealers what the issue was. This went on for 3 weeks! then finally a "fix" was announced, seems they all got shipped 1 qt low on fluid. So for 3 weeks all the dealers were in the dark and the ultimated fix was to add 1 qt of fluid. This is nothing new but it's not your dealer playing games with you, it's just the way chrysler is.

Yup...

Yah... I am pretty sure it is just allocation BS and also the East Coast get's theirs first before anybody else... Just cuz the London Ontario plant is on the east coast in Canada... My dealer did a "Dealer Locate" 2 hours ago and within 5000 miles (all the dealers in the US).. there is only 30 300's

But I gotta go...

I am saying... .

I am saying that because the plant is on the east coast (in London, or Brampton, Ontario) or whatever, The east coast would get their allocation first.. (before the west coast)

Clear things up... ???

I know for a fact how chrysler's allocation works because I worked for the Largest Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep dealer in the world, Dave Smith (right in your back yard). But even though they are #1 overall, they sell mostly dodge trucks, so when I was there we could hardly get any 300's of any kind, while dealers that sold more cars (but fewer vehicles overall) could get more 300's. That's how it works, nothing to do with where the dealer is located. In fact just because a dealer orders a car there is no guarantee they will get it EVER if it's a limited production vehicle. My dad waited 9 months for his SRT8 from Dave Smith while others on this forum ordered after he did and got their car sooner (but they didn't get it at invoice). All I'm saying is I don't think it's your dealer's fault. They don't make a dime until they sell it to you so I'm sure they would expedite it if they could.

Your statement that East Coast dealers get allocations first is Total Bull$hit. Allocation is based on sales and availability. What does Chrysler care where the dealer is located? Shipping Charges are built into the invoice on each car, anyway.

By the way, your problem is due to allocation, nothing else. If your dealer does not have allocation for the given month, have them call their sales dm early in an allocation period to see if he can pick up an allocation that is unused by another dealer. This is the only way you will get an AWD scheduled for production, as they always schedule out early in the allocation run due to low production. For the November allocation run, which is currently taking place and started last monday and ends tomorrow, the AWD 300's scheduled out last Wednesday (October 5th), so it has to be done immediately when allocation opens at the beginning of the month.

As for your problems with customer service, well, they are contracted through an outside company in Tennessee and aren't as keen on the allocation system as some others in Chrysler.

AWDRIVER if you ever get your car I promise you'll love it. Another nice thing is in our part of the country there aren't many 300's around yet. I'm starting to see a few more in Cda but so far only one other magnesium one. But at least everyone and there dog isn't driving one up here so that's kinda cool.

The more I drive my "C" the more I like it. put 473 miles on it yesterday; went down to Lewiston to see a buddy and we ended up driving all over the place and out along the clearwater river and up into the mountains around Orofino - - It's nice to have some passing power on those twisty mountain roads! After that many miles I wasn't even tired, this car just gets more comfortable the more I drive it. Hang in there, you'll be glad when you finally get your car.

Yes... Yes...

I feel ya on the "not everybody has one up here" thing... but even still it should not take this long. I just want a VIN #... just some fricking progress.

And... there is a guy in sandpoint that has an AWD Touring that is tricked out pretty good... It has the Lambo Doors, The Dub Esinem Grill, And Matching rims...

It looked like he just looked in a magazine and said... "I want that" to the MHT alloys AD. It is the exact car as the one in the illustration... (besides his isn't a C)...

But yah... I understand patience patience patience... but shat... I just need to know soon what is going on with my damn car... because if I ordered before others I should get my car before them.. .or it should be built and in shipment to me when a guy on the east coast get's his quicker cuz the plant is just a hop skip and a jump away...

I just don't get it... they shouldn't be able to screw over a guy in smalltown USA just cuz guy in bigtown usa ordered more of the same product... BS

I'm calling my dealer to see if there are any changes...

You will get yours before someone else who ordered after you FROM THE SAME DEALER, but not necessarily before someone who ordered from a dealer that sells hundreds of cars a month compared to Taylor Parkers 15 cars a month. That's just the way the allocation works. The more (and faster) a dealer sells them the more they get, and the faster they get them. There was a huge lawsuit about 7 years ago where dealers in the area tried to get Chrysler to allocate based on population (aimed at curbing Dave Smith's growth) but it failed..... that system would even be worse for small town dealers if it had come about. As far as east coaster's getting them sooner, the only difference there would be the actual transport time once it leaves the factory- - so maybe a week faster if that??. Can't really do anything about that, they gotta put the plant Someplace after all.....

Just got a Fully Loaded 05' Jeep Grand Cherokee

Baby's coming and I can't wait any longer..

Got a sick deal...

ticket was 44,000
Got it for 35,000

Hemi...

Not one more option you could ask for.. (literally)

Yah... I am kind of sad about the 300... but hey.. you know that Rolling Stones Song... "You Can't Always Get What You Want"

I now must say goodbye to all my friends that rock 300's... but... I will still have some questions for the NAV System..... (it's the same)...

Later all...

Well now that you have your 4x4 Jeep you don't need an AWD 300 anymore, you can get a RWD for spring thru fall! I'm seeing more of them in town now, was kinda mad today, had a midnight blue "c" behind me at a red light and a cool vanilla "C" accross the intersection from me, and I was driving my beater Accord! :eek:uch:

Don't you have a C?///CDA?

You would be the easiest to sell to being in cda and all... I'm in cda now waiting for my baby to pop out...

It's a volant... with the Carbon Fiber Top...

For you with not having to deal with shipping and crap(just meet and swap) (and race) hee hee... I'd sell you the intake for $275! Cheaper than you will find it anywhere..

Get at me... I'll PM you with my #

About pics... I have some posted on here somewhere I just need to find them..

I'll get to it..

AWDRIVER, I do have a 300C, but only a couple people at work know about it plus parking is very cramped so I drive the beater Accord to work and back. Don't wanna get door dings or make someone at work think I'm making too much money (which i'm not...the $$ for the 300C sure as hell didn't come from my job but that's a whole 'nuther story).
