Chrysler Extended Warranty Cost For SRT 8/300c?

I know Rambit has some good info on another thread, but I was curious as to what everyone else may have paid for a 7/75 or a 7/60 or any other bumper to bumper warranty on their SRT 8 or 300c. I also need to know what the deductible is, $0, $50, or $100. I am currently being offered a 7/60 w/ a $50 deductible for $1440. They also offfer a 7/75 w/ a $50 deductible for $2070. Doesn't seem worth the extra money for the extra 15k miles of warranty. I appreciate any quotes you may have as well as any feedback you can give me. Thanks.

Srt Surcharge

I just spoke with Redwinger, who is a dealer in the Midwest. He quoted me a great price, but also made note that the price had the SRT surcharge. Based on what others paid I gather their contract is for a 300c, not a 300 SRT 8. There will be a different code on the contract which may lead to some issues when you go to have your car serviced under warranty. He has told me in the past when they made the mistake they had to eat the cost, but who knows what other dealers may do. I hope this info helps. My price from him was $1355 for a 7/60 maximum care $0 deductible. This price was with the SRT surcharge. I know the same warranty costs $1130 on eservicecontracts.com for just a regluar 300c. I am going to check on this some more, but it looks like I will pay the extra money to make sure my service contract is set-up for a 300 SRT 8 instead of a 300c. Let me know your thoughts.

SRT surcharge? It sounds like :bs: to me. That price is still a little high. Like I said, I got $1070 for a 7/60 w/ no deductible.

It makes sense, because these are different vehicles compared to normal production cars. I actually wondered this from the beginning. I know you may not want to ask, but call your dealer and ask them if your warranty is for an SRT 8 or for a 300c. I am just looking out for people who may have an issue down the road. Let me know.
Just called 3 dealers from a previous post on chrylser extended warranties. They all stated there was a surcharge and made a point to say I would have an issue down the road if I didn't have the right vehicle on the contract. not trying to scare anyone, I just want to share what they all told me. One dealer even stated that they don't even have pricing on the SRT 8 as it relates to the cost of the warranty because it hasn't been listed yet. He also told me all other SRT vehicles have this surcharge.

Well, I'm not saying you're wrong, it's just that they never brought it up, and I thought the warranty was a good price anyway since I paid $1,200 for the warranty on my $22k Dodge Dakota almost 6 years ago.

So the C would have been cheaper had I bought one....Interesting. Man I must have really got screwed on my truck. Big shock. F***ing salesmen.

sent you an email.
I just hung up with Kevin Whittrock who is a chrysler dealer who offers warranties via eservicecontracts.com. He confirmed that there is a $275 surcharge for ant SRT vehicle. He also stated the coding of the contract is different for regular chrysler vehicles compared to SRT vehicles. I am still getting the best price from Redwinger who is a forum member and dealer who offers warranties. I would rather be safe than sorry, especially with a warranty clain that will happen 3 years from now.
Hmmmm...it sounds like I need to ask a few questions. I'm sure the idiot who wrote the contract for my car (I took the 7/60k for $26 more than eservice charges) didn't know anything about an SRT surcharge. I know I've got a good dealer when he only tacks on $26 without any haggling, but the salesman prolly needs additional training. And you'd think that the eservice website would address any surcharge....

You pay for what you get for but I guess you know what you are talking about you sell these every day, if you have doubts call chrysler service contracts your self. If you don't know the facts don't spout off.
Just got my extended warranty thru John Ristow. His direct line is 651-730-2862. He works for a Chrysler Dealer in Minnesota. Great guy, knows more about warranties than anyone else I spoke with. Best price also. 7/60 extended care warranty is what I got for my SRT 8. Make note the SRT 8 has a surcharge for the warranty so if you purchased your warranty somewhere else, check your paperwork and call your dealer. Let john know you got his info from the 300c Forum or from Johnny V in Jersey. He loves to help forum members.
There is a surcharge on all SRT models. The surcharge applies on all warranties but it makes sense on the Gold plan. The oil Changes in Canada for a SRT8 are $107.80 compared to 29.95 on a regular 300. There not going to lose money on the Gold plus plans. Also the SRT is more advanced and requires more expsensive parts then a normal 300. Thats how I see it.

Sorry for any spelling errors. Trying to type quick and get back to work.
I too purchased an extended warranty and oil change package from John Ristow today. I shopped for pricing and his was the best. If you're looking for an extended warranty, give him a call.

i purchased the gold plus plan just like Rambit....the cost of just the oil changes make sense to purchase this plan.
Did'nt purchase the Gold Plus. I bought the Extra Care 7/70 w/ $50 deductible for $1,350.

Was it the 7/60 or 7/70? I am also wondering who you got it from and if they gave you the warranty for a SRT 8, not a 300c. Let us know. Thanks.

let us know!
Thanks!
