Claying Tip

I forgot to mention this important tip about claying. Don't leave the clay in the soapy water when you are claying your car. Have a towel, plastic baggie or something to store it in while you are working. What will happen is the surfactents in the soap will start to break down the clay and it can loose its effectiveness, and become weak. Gary

So you won't have the problem that turbomangt spoke of use "Quick Detailer" as the Lub instead of soap.

P.S. I've used a spray "Quick Wax" in the past also. By using these products you do not need to rewash the car or truck to remove the soap so you can finish Detailing or waxing it.
