Prior to buying my 300C, I was the owner of a 300M and a member of the 300M enthusiast forum and one of the members who went by Scotian came up with a personalized clock face for the car and on the 300M it was an easy mod, so you could have your own name or your cars name on the clock. I did not do it to my car but maybe some of you might like to do this. I'm quite sure we can find the model used, but am not sure how difficult it would be to take our clocks apart to do it. Any one interested?

Hey mikeyjohn, I'm from the same 300M board... Yup! I actually had one of those faces and took it out before the M went to the dealer for my new 300C. That guy actually lives in the same areas as me (Within 30 miles) and I found that out when he mailed it to me...
I liked that simple little mod, I should see if I've got his email around and if so shoot him a line...

I started a thread about replacing the clock face a couple months ago (do a search, its probably under interior visual modifications now, since it split to interior/exterior). If any of you have seen Wes's car (wesexcellence) he had replaced the clock. Now that your rides completed Wes, I think you can let the secret out on how to do it! I sure would like a Rolex or Frank Mueller face in there, while still sustaining the ambience of the green backlight. Lets get this mod up and running again guys!
