Hello guys, anyone have any idea where the crank position sensor is on a crd? Is it easy to access it from the top of the engine or below?

I've not tried this myself, but it does look as if it might be easier from underneath, as there is a lot of clutter topside.

My last car a bmw 330i M sport, did exactly the same thing my diesel is doing now, cutting off when warm and only at low speed, especially after exiting a corner, turned out to be crank sensor. Had to change it from the top, it was a hell of a job.
