My steering wheel creaks when you adjust it up. It's not like a mechanical creak but like some plastic rubbing. It only happens in about the last 20% of upward pivot. Anyone else have this happen?

It is funny you started this thread today. Today I got my C back from the dealer to fix my creaking steering wheel. I had even started this thread with the same title back in November which I was going to post a follow-up tonight.

But my creaking is different than yours. Mine creaks when I turn the wheel left or right, or push/pull on the wheel. I have my wheel at is lowest position at all times, so I don't know if the creaking happens more or less if the wheel is raised higher.
Unfortunately I was not able to get a good explanation of what caused my creaking. The Service Advisor couldn't explain the problem. On my service ticket it said -
"Removed Lower Dash Panel - Removed kick panel - loosen up center steering support - realigned and tightened - road tested warm and cold"

I didn't hear any creaking on the freeway drive home. The creaking doesn't happen all the time so I will need a few more days of driving to really know if it is gone for good.

If you can consistently duplicate the noise, then take it to your dealer.
My dealer didn't have a ready made solution/fix and had to ask Chrysler for a recommended solution/fix. I had to wait over 2 weeks while my dealer waited for a recommended fix from Chrysler.
