Today's date represents the 4th delivery date that has come and gone since "my" car moved into D1 status.
I know many of us are waiting and have waited for many months. However, I wonder how many of us have been stuck in D1 for more then 4 months. Is this typical??
If not, it makes me wonder if brake problems have made their way to DCX and production has slowed or stopped to fix the problem.
Would there be other reasons why a car would remain stagnate for this length of time?
Someone tell me this is normal and they had to wait more then 5 months in D1 before their car arrived.
One more thing. It would be helpful if DCX used D1 only when the car was set to role down the assembly line and only then provide the customer with a delivery date that is rock solid! I was dumb or naive enough to believe DCX the first two times and changed vacation dates to coincide with the delivery dates. The good news is I finally went on vacation. The bad news, the car has yet to be driven into my garage.
