Well I was driving home from work and was exiting the off ramp freeway to my house when the guy in front of me had to stop completely because an idiot in front of him had completely stopped. I tried to swerve out of the way but managed to just clip him. His car was a mid 90's Subaru Outback and he had a softball size dent in his lower bumper fascia. Me and my bad luck had a cracked bumper which has to be replaced and a dented up quarter panel which needs to be replaced as well. This happened right in front of the Chrysler dealer so as soon as the police leave and all insurance companies are exchanged I drive in for an estimate. $2,384.00. Great, I'm sure esurance will be pleased as I'm waiting for a claims specialist to call me back. My deductible is only 100 bucks though so I guess this means that I don't have to pay for the install on my new grille. They'll just throw it on for free....or should I say $2,384. I don't actually have the new grille but I am going to order one today. Anyone selling a GRIP GRILLE can PM me, not too likely but I thought that I'd throw that out there. This is where I need your help guys. Can I swap out my 300 bumper for an SRT8 bumper. The guy said he would order it but he wasn't too sure if it would fit and or coarse he was acting funny toward me about doing it. I told him that I would verify with the forum here to see if I can do or what has to be done. I will post some pics in a few minutes. Thanks

Damn, sorry you had a boo-boo! Hope everyone is ok..

You can swap bumpers, but need a few more parts to make it work, like the belly pan, and I think some fenderwell pieces.. I'll look for the info shortly, unless someone beats me to it..

You know it. As long as it is fixable and I'm alright then the Mods are going to be thought of. Just to think though, now I probably won't be able to buy this s/c flashpaq from someone on another forum cause my insurance reimburses me my car rental and so I have to pay for it when I go there. Doesn't that suck? Bastards!

I Know Whay You Mean.when My 300 Was Hit Last Year It Took 32 Days To Be Fixed Had To Lay Out $850.00 And At The End Had To Pay For The Last Two Days Because My Insurance Coverd 30 Days.i Knew It Was To Good To Be True That I Wasnt Going To Pay Anything.good Luck

32 days to fix it? Damn you must've had a lot of things that need to be fixed. I am going to see if I can get the dealer or whoever fixes my car to buy an after market bumper. I just gotta find one that I like. Anyone out there that has suggestions please let me know. Thanks

Here this is the grill that I am now gonna go with. I am doing the silver/black theme with my car. Black rims, black grille, dark tint, every light blacked out. I hope that it comes out looking nice.

32 days seem long to me too,they kept telling me they were waiting for a bumper and it was a freind that send me to a guy he knew.just orded black rims,also going all black with a black car.grille looks good i was thinking going with the gripp grille

Sorry to hear about the accident they are not fun at all as I was recently involved in one. I'm still looking at about two more weeks before I get mine back which will be like seven weeks from the time of the accident until I'm driving the car again. Just hope the wait isn't as long and remember cars can always be replaced.
