I recently noticed a small raised bubble in my dash, on the passenger side, near the windshield. I felt it with my finger and there seems to be a soft spot in the dash right where the bubble popped up. In other words, if you run your hand over 99% of the dash, it feels solid, but right where that bubble is I can push my finger in and it feels like there's nothing solid underneath the vinyl. Has anyone else had this happen? The car is garaged most of the time, and I live in a very mild climte, so the car definitely hasn't been exposed to too much sun. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks!

Yup. I have one right in the center. It seems the 1-piece dash design is somewhat flawed as I have seen 2 or 3 threads in regards to problems with it.

I am taking mine in during lunch today to have the piece replaced.

I know this won't make you feel good. I had the same thing mine was on the drivers side. They replaced the entire dash. Then they had to replace the tortise shell door handle, drivers door panel, ash tray and switch piece, trim bezel around the radio and drivers leather seat(cut the leather). During the replacement the mechanic was sloppy and damaged many things. Took one full day.

i have a buble as well, but the dealer won't cover it under warranty, can i have the name and number of the dealer that did cover it, because they were shocked when i told them another dealer did.

Thanks
Center Chrysler. Van Nuys California. How can they deny something like that? Its a defect in the dash! You need to stand up for yourself and make some noise at that dealer before backing down so easily. If its a defect from the factory or a defect that developed during your warranty period, they should fix it.

Are they claiming that you removed the dash or something?

Mine has a bubble and a sink hole. Dealer does not want to replace it. They said most of the dashes have a problem, therefore it is not a problem. Butttttttttttttttt, that Chrysler is going to change the supplier of dash, and it should be OK to change it, then. And the beat goes on. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> :( Dixie
