Lost car key in snow. Had mechanic change ignition. New key did not have chip. After trying it a few times car would start and then die out after a few seconds. Battery finally died completely. Locksmith came and reprogrammed new keys. Anti-theft light, ABS, and ESP lights have been on. Locksmith said after a while they would go off. Almost going on a year. Had computer changed and still lights on. Does anyone have any suggestions?

when you get a new ignition and key i believe you also have to get a new SKIM when changing ignition to program them all together.

I actually had everything reprogrammed. The car starts and runs fine. Just for some reason the lights are still on.

Try pulling the PCM/AutoShutOff fuse in the underhood fuse box. Give it about 2 - 3 minutes, plug it back in, get in the car, turn the key to On but don't start, slowly depress the accelerator pedal to the floor, then slowly release.

This should reset the PCM and all adaptives. Let us know how things go.
