My Dashboard is driving me mad. It rattles and buzzies over rough surfaces.
(The car is only 6 months old)
Its coming from between the radio and climate control units. If I put my fingers on the silver trim the buzzing stops.
Does any know whats under the trim between these units.
Being a quality car, I hope it has some sound proofing fitted.

Did you use the search function yet?

I put the words "dash rattle" in the search function, and in less than
5 seconds, I got 88 posts about this.

Try it, you may learn something...

It might be worth pulling the trim out, it justs pulls away, and then gently expand the clips slightly so when you put it back it grips tighter. My 300C is probably the quietest car I've ever had for rattles!

Mine's is quiet too. I would agree with Stef - pull the trim off and expand the clips a shade - or even stick a couple of Sellotape's Sticky Fixer Strips behind it as a sound deadener - of settle for a wee lump of Blu-Tak (behind the trim of course).

Another thing you could try is sticking some felt in certain places on bare areas where hard surfaces could be meeting other hard surfaces. It's primitive, but it might just work for you.
I know the felt pads that go on the bottom of furniture on hardwood floors worked for a guy on the American side of the forums. He hasn't had any rattles since.
