Order Confirmation:

• Call 1-800-992-1997.

• The sequence to input is 1, 2, 5, 2, 3... your phone
number, then 1. This brings you to a human who can update you on your order status.

Make sure that you get the option to take a survey and have accepted. Otherwise hang up and try again. The survey option gets you better information faster.

BG on hold (parts issue)

I got lucky and talked to a real live person after waiting 5 minuets. I finaly have a VIN and the key has been made. Give it another try, maybe better luck next time.

Please don't tell me you guys are giving your business to a dealership who can't/won't check your order status for you. I'm checking my customer's order status all the time, takes me a matter of seconds.

The only codes you have to worry about are BA,BX,BG,BE (depending on how/if the order passes edit)...then D,D1....then KZL,M,N (shipping). Of course, those with '05 orders that aren't scheduled are going to have to look out for ZA!

Do you know when they will start the orders for 06? Based on production news I thought it would be tomorrow the 24th. I have an 05 ordered still in BX status and think I would prefer to wait for the 06 with the Linen Gold if that really is the new option for the C.

Thanx for the info XCITsNU. I called DC today and got great help from them. I received my Vin # and also found out my order is "D" status. It is an '05, even though I would rather have it as an '06.

Finally was able to get through. She said it was BG now it is BX. I ordered mine the same day as you Johnny. I'll take your 05 off your hands!!

Y'all,
Ordering is STILL not open for '06! Also, Jonny Vig has a confirmed D status '05.
No way will they make a linen gold SRT-8, but it will be an option for the Cs.
I'll post when the open ordering for '06s, so all of you with SRT-8 orders can re-order.

Thx RT4, you are certainly someone we can always count on for up to the minute info. I wish all dealers knew as much as you or even most of us on the forum........

I called chrysler today and they would not give me the status of the car. He did though give me the VIN # of my SRT-8. So would that mean that it is in production ?
Does anyone work for chrysler and could check my VON number for me, and tell me where it is at?

If you have a VIN you're in "D" status, which means the factory will build it.
I don't believe anyone has a ship date yet, which is generally the next step "D1".
My dealership's car has been "D" since the 11th of Jan. Normal cars (rams, neons, etc) are in D for a few days. Obviously the SRT-8 is not a normal car.
Given that the '05 SRT-8s will be build in February, they have to start getting ship dates soon!

Chatted with the guy on the customer support line and he said that their system gets dumps weekly on wednesday/thursday (varies by week) - so at teh 1-800 number you won't see changes in status more than once a week and you're most likely to get current information on fridays.

Just an intersting tidbit.

I think they may have changed their options. I just tried and it just brought me in a circle. I just pressed 1(customer) then 5(other issues).....Im on hold now...

I sat on hold for approx 10mins and the person I spoke w/(Jeremaiah) informed me that my order is in BG status(on hold-parts issue).

I called the Customer Service line and talked to a guy who told me my SRT8 as in "gateway D1 status". He also politely asked that I use my dealer for any future inquiries - maybe these guys are getting a lot of calls from us!

I did talk to my dealer later and he gave me my '06 VIN number (cool!)
