didn't you hear?!?!

the 300s have a built-in mechanic under the hood that works around the clock to keep our cars in tip-top shape.

Did you happen to have any unresolved rattles that have now miraculously disappeared?!!

(must have been left there from the previous owner or the dealership)

At least its a 10 mm, so you can use it to take the bellypan off next time
you do an oil change........

Have you had your car serviced by anyone but yourself?

I usually find screwdrivers and stuff like that in my cars whenever I have
taken them to a mechanic to fix things that I don't have time to do, or
don't have the tools for the job.

But thats a bit on the weird side to find a wrench.

I have an older neighbor, who is in his 70's.

He has an old coke bottle in his garage with a small piece of paper rolled up
in it.

One day I asked him what it was from, and he told me that when he bought
his first brand new car, which was some huge buick, back in 1961, it had
this really annoying rattling sound coming from inside the drivers side door.

The rattle would get louder when he went around turns, and it would quite
down going straight.

So, one day he got fed up with it, and took the interior door panel off, and
low and behold, he found this glass coke bottle inside the door frame!!

Thats what was rattling around for all that time.

But, the kicker to the story, and the reason he kept the bottle, was because
inside the bottle was the little piece of paper, and on the paper, someone
had written: "You found it".

Nice huh?

10 mm? ok did you ever had your bumper removed? cause the bolt holding the bumper are 10mm and its easy to drop your wrench when you try to access the bolts. Since you have to bent the plastic inside the fender to access the bolt, the space to fit your hand is very limited so the guy probably droped his wrench and couldnt access it unless he removed everything again.

Lazy Mechanic!!

One of the downsides to a bellypan like the LX's have... nothing goes right to the ground when you drop it!!!! I bet if that happened at a dealership, he saved you an hours rate on labor by leaving it in there instead of putting the car on the lift to get it out!
