Driver side Mirror replacement?

it's pretty easy, I don't have any pictures but I can explain it..

if you move the glass to one side and look behind it with a flash light you will see it is held to a base with several (8 as I recall) clips, also the back of the glass is attached to that base with some double sided 3m tape.

the easiest way to remove it is to get a long skinny flat blade screw driver, and work it behind the glass and pop off the clips on one side once you have 2 or 3 of them released the other side will come off, you may need to wedge the screw driver between the glass an base to release/loosen the 3m tape..

wrap the outside of the mirror and the screw driver with masking tape, this will prevent you from scratching the mirror if the driver slips..

if you release one clip and it slides back when you try to pop another, use 2 screw drivers, one to hold the released and one to pop the next clip..

it is very easy, just work SLOW as not to damage the base or the mirror housing..

the new mirror should have some stick tape on it, remove the backing and pop the glass on..

BE VERY CAREFUL as flexing the glass will crack it.. push it from the CENTER not the sides when putting it on, this prevents flexing it..

there are 2 electrical connectors on the Glass as well, one for the Auto Dim (white connector) and one set for the heated glass element.. if you see a double image after replacing the auto dim connector, it means you have it on backwards, so flip it..

hope that helps....
