I had it in my Town Car. I just got through upgraded my 300C's sound system, and I didn't even hesitate to have Dynamat Extreme put in the trnk and front doors. It prevents rattles, but more importantly tightens the bass to produce cleaner sound.

i went threw 3 sheets and it was 140 from best buy
Wow!

I had forgotten. For future reference, try the following alternatives:

Raamat, edead, secondskin, fatmat, etc

I would agree that dynamat works, but you need a lot for this
car and it can be costly. (I started out doing extreme on
my doors and trunk).

Please excuse my ignorance....Dynamat is for sound deadening?

These are products to block out noise, vibrations, and heat. Dynamat
is the brand name for the products manufactured by Dynamic Control.

You've just cracked the code. It can be used if that's what you are
asking. It may have more of a tar smell, but it is perfectly acceptable
to use it and many have.

Basically this would be similar to original dynamat.

I've used it in 2 different cars back in the day of big bass and mini trucks. It was softer than Dyno-Mat and easier to work with but left your car smelling like tar for about a week.
