Had the Eibach pro kit installed on my 300c. Some thing is definitely bangin and rattling in the rear. My mechanic says he double checked his work after I brought the car back. Bump stops were cut, all the isolators put back ,Re-torqued eveything after install was done, etc. Numerous calls to Eibach tech were all friendly on their part. Final suggestion to us was put in shocks that are designed for lowering this suspension. Wish they told me that prior to install because seems nobody yet has developed such shocks! Either way my dump trucks are quieter than my C. Bummin'. Does anyone have any suggestions, comments, THANK YOU. Clay

I find that hard to believe, I've got almost 17,000 miles on my car since being lowered. There is an issue somewhere else. Check the spare tire compartment for some thing rattling back there, take the rear seats out, check every inch of the car.
You might have a bad shock but I don't it. How many miles are on the car?

Fish you had to say that... I was just thinking how custome a lowered ride looks. I hope (sorry to say) that this is simply something with your ride, and not the fact that it was lowered!

Had the same problem, drove off and there was a rattle coming from the passenger corner. Brought the car back to the shop and guess what??? they check all the bolts and said everyone is tightened. Took it out for a test drive and the rattle started again. Had them put it back on the lift and I check myself. Freaking bastards didn't tighten up the control arm and the bolt was almost fallen off. Tighten that sucker up and it went away.

Well-took the car (300C) to the local speed shop today to try and chase down the rattling in the rear shock area. they found 2 loose bolts, tightened them and now the car rides and sounds stock again! Un Friggin real. The 1st shop had the car TWICE and couldn't close the deal. Unbelievable. I am very Happy now with the car.Have used the speed shop a few times previously on other vehicles. Should not have gone with the corner shop the 1st time. Thanks again for the replies. Now its off to the muffler shop tomorrow for the Borla. The corner shop guy will be waiting for that job till Hell freezes over.

ive done one and had the same problem, the thing is the inner most bolts on the lower control arm arent tight enough...trust me tighten them way tight and it will go away.....the first 300c i lowered did the same thing and i cranked down on it and it went away...in case you havnt done that other than that maybe your hitting dead coils...then i would recommend removing them and putting in cut rubber hose on the last few coils to stop from hitting. just a suggestion, ive lowered quite a few now so im pretty sure thats your problem, something just isnt tight enough!

The longer camber bolts give enough room to adjust the alignment to within factory specs. Before they added the bolts and did the alignment the wheels were tilted outwards from the bottom. Now the wheels are straight again and the flutter in the front tires is gone. Regarding the springs rattling it has been a few weeks since the 2nd shop "Tightened The Rear bolts" and the car is still perfect. Love the dropped look.
