I have a 300C 2006 located in Panama, central America
I get a engine warning, the dealer told me that need to change the thermostat, but he don't have in stock. I take my car home and days later when I use it , noted that the car was hot and with the engine running I put some water to return home, 300 feet near home the motor stop
when I cool the engine and try to start I listen a noise in the motor in the bottom at left side.
I am going to tow the car to the dealer
I want to know in yours experience if you can tell me something about the noise, and what can I expect
I inmagine that I have to rebuild the motor
your comments will be appreciate

Ouch sorry to hear that!

I don't know about the 300 but I can say that a bad temperature sensor can cause LOTS of trouble. Even if the engine isn't overheating and the temperature sensor is just jacked up.

That said, I'm sorry to say there's really nothing helpful I can suggest :] Good luck man!
