Yes.

The accessory drive is different, CANBUS is not compatible, your '06 PCM won't run the Eagle, and you'll have to lock out your VVT, for starters.

Not worth the trouble unless you're getting the engine and/or skilled labor for free or at a steep discount.

Yes.

Again, it's not plug and play, and there's a substantial amount of work and parts required. Google "eagle intake on early 5.7", without the quotes.

If I'm not mistaken and the info is good which I do believe it is, a gentleman told me that the 5.7 eagle intake won't go on the old 5.7 block because it hits the coolant temp sensor. You'd need an intake from a 6.1 or 6.4
