The analog guage on my dash reads an acceptable 210 degrees. The digital display reads 240 degrees:which concerns me on a 78 degree evening. My question is, which guage is correct and why are they so different?

The digital display is OIL temperature. The analog is WATER temperature. Both of your readings sound perfect.

Thank you very much. I cannot believe that got by me. I am quite impressed that Chrysler gave us a way to monitor oil temp. I continue to be amazed by this car.

Temps

My temps read about the same yesterday after driving an hour in stop and go traffic. Car is cool isn't it? Just started learning how the back up sensor works.

Yesterday on I-17 an eighteen wheeler flipped. It was stop and go, about 5 mph, and the outside temp was about 110 degrees and I had the a/c running. I watched both temps the whole time (at least 30 minutes) and it ran perfect. No overheating on my end, and trust me, I'll be the first to see it in sunny AZ

You can get the digital water temperature readout (among other things) on the EVIC by going into diagnostic mode,
