I think it means that the ECR has lost communication with one of the modules but sorry not sure which one

U1008 means the system has lost communications with the "Glow Plug Module".
Check for correct supply or blown fuses the Glow Plug Module initially (Its not likely to be this though because the fuse supplies more than the Glow Plug Module.)

Either a wire off the communications connection on the Glow Plug Module to the ECM or the module itself possibly. (The Glow Plug modules do sometimes fail)

It may just be a glitch and an old code waiting to clear after a few runs (Don't suppose you disconnected the battery recently ?)

Only way you could prove it for sure is measure voltage at glow plugs before a cold start on a cool morning and see if glow plug are getting the "heat up" voltage for a few seconds.

Hi, got p0600;(active, red) p0513; u1008 (both inactive) Is it because of poor battery and bad immobiliser?
