Ordered a Nav Unit on Ebay. Unit Appeared brand-new and the NAV DVD was a shrink wrapped AC Navigation disk. I installed the unit and the AM/FM/SAT/MP3 is working great. When i insert the navigation disk, in the Navigation Disk Slot at the botton of the Nav unit, however, i get a message "Error Reading DVD-ROM. Please insert a disc."
I've checked the disc for visible stratches or dirt, but it doesn't appear damaged. I inserted the disc face up / face down. Occasionally, after i insert the disc it looks like that Loading/Warning screen comes up, then it goes back to saying Error Reading DVD-ROM".
What kind of support would you expect the dealer to provide if i purchased it on eBay and installed it myself?
Does it sound like a hardware or software (DVD) issue?
