Ok, here goes. For those who have the GTimer2, what have you plugged in for setup options?

  1. Pitch Characteristics of car
  2. Roll Characteristics of car
  3. HP Min Speed and HP Max Speed
  4. HP Drivetrain loss
  5. Rolling Resistance
  6. Aerodynamic Drag CDA
  7. Speed Rollout and 1/4 Mile Rollout
  8. Trigger

Thanks for any assistance you can provide in helping me setup my new Escort - Passport GTimer2 - GT2.

Hey bro

Yes, I have the escort passport too. But I have not plugged in all of this data as it really is needed only to calculate the HP and some of the G force data. For 0 - 60 runs and 1/4 mile runs, 60 ft times, etc., all you need to do is calibrate on level ground (calibrate is bottom right hand button) and then press the "timed run" button on the middle left. Also, a more convenient timed run button is located on the cigarette lighter power plug in.

Believe I recall some experts saying drive train loss is about 17 % for our vehicles. Sorry I have not attempted to look up the other data but presume it must be available on some Chrysler site.

The escort passport is great for launching the vehicle, and getting as many timed runs in as you want without doing the all day track experience. It should help you with your track times as well as real world street races where traction becomes a big factor. Have fun and good luck on getting the rest of the data, I will be monitoring this thread so I too can get the info if supplied.
