Just purchsed a new 300 with Electronic Stability Program and Traction Control. Manual says if I have Trac control there will be a button under the clock to turn on/off. If I have ESP, there will be a button under the clock to turn on/off. I HAVE a button that says ESP, nothing else. Where is the Trac control button if you have both?

Your Esp Button Is Your Traction Control Button, The Electronic Sability And Traction Control And Brake Assist System Is All Rolled Up Into One Package, Your Dealer Should Have Explained This To You, If You Look In Your Manual On Page 110 Through Page 114 It Will Explain All The Items Listed And How They Work, I Am Sure That When They Talk About The "tcs" Button, It Is Generic Wording Ment For Other Chrysler/dodge Products......i Say This Because I Have A Dodge And It Has A "tcs" Button And It Is The Same Thing, As Well I Looked In The Owners Manual And The Wording Is Almost Exact. But It Is Confusing To Many People

Your right, very confusing. especially when it says push the button to turn OFF and the light lites up? Or push the button and it comes on?
Never mind, what do I do in the snow or slippery roads?

Leave It Alone, Believe It Or Not This Car Almost Has A Mind Of Its Own, It Ajusts Itself To Road Conditions And The Button, Well It Is For People Who Like To Like On Te Wild Side......ie, This Car Will Spin On A Dime And Not Waiver In Its Fast Turns, And Yes You Can Use The Button For Crazy Stuff

OK......I think I get it. Book says turn off if starting out slipping, but this makes no sense to me.Thought thats why we had it?

You turn it off if you are trying to get out of deep snow or up a slippery drive way when you want to use both rear wheels. I have a friend who has the BMW 760 and can not turn it off. He can't get his car up the driveway if there us a light coating of ice.

Funny to see a nice car sitting at the bottom of the driveway looking at a 3 car garage all night. He told me he wished he could turn it off like I do on my C.

Press the esp to turn traction control off then youll be able to spin tires easily.. test it before u pound of gas at a stop sign or light then press it an youll see the difference
